Dental Team Qualifications (DTQ) is an Ofqual recognized organization; the Ofqual Qualification number for the Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy is \u003ca rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/find-a-qualification.services.ofqual.gov.uk\/qualifications\/60371225\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e603\/7122\/5\u003c\/a\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003eBackground\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOrthodontic Team Training (OTT) worked over a number of years with the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) and Skills for Health to develop the Standard for Orthodontic Therapy and became the first main approved provider in 2022. Delivered by a very experienced team of clinician\/educators, our programme has been researched as part of a PhD Thesis in Orthodontic education. As such, our programme is educationally evidence-based, with teaching continually evolving, based upon feedback from students, trainers and tutors.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003eFacilities\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCourse teaching is delivered from the Leamington Spa Orthodontic Centre, housed within a six-storey Regency building in the heart of Leamington Spa and within a short walk from the railway station. Facilities have been developed specifically for teaching and include a fully equipped lecture suite seating up to thirty students, a camera\/video link to one of our surgeries in the building, enabling hands-on style demonstrations of clinical procedures to the lecture theatre. Our clinical skills laboratory is also linked to the lecture theatre and surgery. Video-conferencing allows off site links to other facilities worldwide, with full internet access. Your employer must commit to the requirements as set out by EFSA and be registered with the apprenticeship service and be guided by the Apprenticeship funding rules and assessment plan.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/td\u003e\n\u003c\/tr\u003e\n\u003ctr valign=\"top\"\u003e\n\u003ctd style=\"border: 1px solid #D8D8D8; padding: 0.5rem;\"\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"margin-top: 0;\"\u003eDue to the competitive nature of the application process, apprentices must ensure that they meet the ideal entry requirements prior to submitting their application.
